Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all subscriptions and purchases made through the Grandma Ruth website at grandmaruth.lovable.app, operated by Luma Voice AI. Please read this policy carefully before subscribing to any of our plans.

1. Free Trial

New subscribers to the Comfort Plan ($29/month) are eligible for a 7-day free trial. During the free trial period:

  • You will not be charged any subscription fees.
  • A valid payment method is required to start the trial.
  • You may cancel at any time before the trial ends with no charge.
  • If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your payment method will automatically be charged the applicable monthly subscription fee.

The 7-day free trial is available for new monthly subscribers only. It is not available for quarterly, 6-month, annual, or 2-year plans. Each customer is eligible for one free trial. Luma Voice AI reserves the right to revoke trial access if abuse is suspected.

2. General Refund Policy

All subscription fees paid to Luma Voice AI are non-refundable except as expressly described in this Refund Policy. When you subscribe to a Grandma Ruth plan, you are paying for immediate access to the service. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.

This applies to all plans including:

  • Comfort Plan – $29/month
  • Loving Care Plan – $49/month

3. Exceptions – When Refunds May Be Granted

While our general policy is no refunds, Luma Voice AI will consider refund requests in the following limited circumstances:

3.1 Technical Failure

If the Grandma Ruth service experiences a significant technical failure that prevents you from accessing the service for an extended period (more than 48 consecutive hours) due to issues on our end, you may be eligible for a prorated credit or refund for the affected period. To request a refund under this provision, contact us within 7 days of the service disruption at lumavoiceai@gmail.com with a description of the issue.

3.2 Duplicate Charges

If you were charged more than once for the same subscription period due to a billing error, we will promptly refund the duplicate charge. Please contact us at lumavoiceai@gmail.com with your account information and proof of the duplicate charge.

3.3 Unauthorized Charges

If you believe a charge was made to your account without your authorization, please contact us immediately at lumavoiceai@gmail.com. We will investigate and, if confirmed, issue a refund for the unauthorized charge.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund under one of the eligible exceptions listed above, please follow these steps:

  • Email us at lumavoiceai@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund Request".
  • Include your full name, the email address associated with your account, your phone number, and a description of the reason for your refund request.
  • Attach any relevant documentation, such as screenshots of duplicate charges or descriptions of service outages.

We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

5. Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal accessible on our website. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to the Grandma Ruth service until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period. For example, if you cancel on the 10th day of a monthly subscription, you will retain access through the end of that month but will not receive a refund for the remaining days.

6. Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us at lumavoiceai@gmail.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving billing issues fairly and promptly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in the suspension or termination of your account and may affect your ability to use our service in the future.

7. Changes to This Policy

Luma Voice AI reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Grandma Ruth service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
